| This is how the 2 murals above look after I've glazed them, but before firing!! Really is hard to tell what will happen, why none of my tiles are ever the same! There are so many varibles in glazing, from the humidity, amount and type of glaze, overlaps, where they are in the kiln, and much more. So they are truly a one of a kind, no two alike, original tiles! I love the way the glazes interact with eachother, but its important not to "plan" too much, just let the glaze and the Fire Gods do their thing. It never ceases to amaze me what happens! |
